LUSHAN UGGp hosted the 2024 "Lushan Cup" Jiujiang Fencing Open and "Sports Gan-Po · Dynamic Jiangxi" Jiangxi Provincial Championship League (Second Station)

In response to the call by the National Administration of Sports, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in March 2024 to hold Sports Events in Scenic Spots, Streets, and Business Districts, Lushan UNESCO Global Geopark hosted the 2024 "Lushan Cup" Jiujiang Fencing Open and "Sports Gan-Po · Dynamic Jiangxi" Jiangxi Provincial Championship League (Second Station) from 1 to 2 June 2024. 

        This is the first national fencing event held in Jiujiang City, including individual and team competitions in three categories: foil, epee, and saber. It includes eight groups: U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U17+, and open group, adopting a methodology combining group events with elimination rounds. The competition was held on 23 fencing strips simultaneously at the Lushan International Conference Center and Lushan Tennis Stadium. A total of 100 gold medals, 100 silver medals, and 150 bronze medals were awarded.

           Over 1,500 athletes, referees, and team members from across the country participated in the competition.
