Recently, Jiangxi Geopark Management Workshop was held in Longhushan Global Geopark，with more than 80 participants from the ministry of Land and Resource, Geological Science Institute, National Geopark Network Center, the department of Land and Resource of Jiangxi, and geoparks at or above provincial level .

The representative from Lushan Global Geopark Administrative Committee gave a report on the preparation of 2018 revaluation of Lushan Global Geopark, which included what Lushan geopark has done on protection, management construction work, according to the suggestion of 2014 Lushan Global Geopark revaluation and Global Geopark Operational Guidelines, and also included existed problem in the geopark.

The invited experts gave special reports titled UNESCO Global Geopark –Conception and Standard,  the Current Condition and Countermeasures of  Chinese UNESCO Global Geoparks and Geoparks and Sustainable Tourism. During the reports , the experts also pointed out the common problems and new ideas of development on geoparks construction and management at present.
