In spilite-keratophyre , as intermediate-basic volcanic rocks of Xiaojiwa Canyon, dated 900 Ma，chevron folding is developed after schistosity was deformed. The schistosity should have been formed during Indo-China orogeny 200 Ma, however the chevron folding might be related to covers deformation above metamorphic core complex ,dated 100-70Ma Normally the basic magma erupted into the sea is called spilite, the intermediate magma is called keratophyre.
