The life-like Wurufeng peak is composed of acid volcanic rock of 90 million years ago. The lower part of mountain is composed of Xizhi metamorphic rock of earlly proterozoic. Due to the excavation of glacial tongue. The Wurushi cirque formed in the metamorphic rock.The cirque is about 300m long, 200m wide and about 70m deep.It is surround by mountain in three directions with steep rear wall. There is redidual reigel at the exit. The elevation of thecirque  bottom is 500m.
