At the beginning of April. Lushan Global Geopark held training courses for over 200 geopark interpreters to improve their qualities and promote the level of interpretation service.
The professors from the Tourism College of Jiujiang University gave the classes about the requirement of guides’ qualities, the skill of service and the guides’ risk and opportunities under the new noraml. Meanwhile, the geopark interpreters also studied standard services through three courses.
The lectures about the earth scientific knowledge from the geopark managers was also given to the interpreters for popularizing geosites protection and enhancing the ability of the geopark interpretation, which is one of the activity of the 47th the Earth World activities themed. After the lecture, the interpreters scanned the QR code of the geopark website and wechat account to get more information about the geopark.
