April 23 is World Reading Day and the second day of Series Activities in Lushan Global Geopark on “Global Earth Day” 2014  In this sunny day, Lushan environmental volunteers hold science popularization and geo-lectures there .

Kuling Street is an old street with 100 years history, the only commercial street and centre of local community , tourists’ shopping and leisure centre. With T-shirt of Mt.Lushan –our common home , volunteers of Lushan Global Geopark delivered geo-pamphlets and eco –pamphlets of cherishing the earth's resources, protecting eco-environment, saving energy, utilizating resource efficiently, made consultation explanation. Volunteers, tourists and local people had nice interactions.

The geo-lecture is facing to teachers of middle school and primary school . The PPT interpreted geological evolution, the relation between geo-heritage and culture and history vividly. The lecture aroused sense of cherishing and protecting nature and sustainable development of teachers.
