On 24th April 2014, the activities in Lushan Botanical Garden and  Lushan Geo-museum in Lushan Global Geopark are held.Lushan Botanical Garden , the 1st subalpine botanical garden in China is located in Sanyixiang Firn Basin ,which was named by J. S. Lee, Chinese famous geologist and the founder of Chinese Quarternary Glaciation Geology  .With fertile soil and mild slope,  it is a natural heaven . That is why the founders chose it to set up this botanical garden in 1934.

Today Mr. Peng Yan Song,a botanist of this garden, acted as guide for geopark volunteers , teachers and primary school students . The children were deeply attracted by his interesting stories of plant, history, eminent botanists.

Then primary school students visited Lushan Geo-museum (Lulin Villa No.1). Interpreter showed them four showrooms and answer students' questions . Interesting touch screen attracted attentions of students. Children enjoyed these touching nature
and geo-heritage activities.
