Located in the northern section of the Luoxiao Mountains in the western part of Jiangxi Province, Wugongshan Global Geopark has an altitude of 1918.3 meters. Historically, it has been known as one of the three famous mountains south of the Yangtze River and has gained the reputation as "Hengshan ranks first, Lushan third, and Wugongshan in between." The geopark is primarily characterized by its alpine meadows covering approximately 66.7 million square meters, granite peak forests and clusters, as well as the ring-shaped "hot springs chain" unique to Wugongshan. It stands out as the only geopark globally that is centered around a granite dome structure and showcases comprehensive geological landscapes. Additionally, with its extensive history and rich cultural heritage, Wugongshan boasts cultural relics such as The thousand-year ancient altar, Santianmen Ruins, and is considered to be the ancestral origin of Weiyangzong - all contributing to its mysterious allure and strong local characteristics.
