Tian Shu Bi Chevron Folds (Heavenly Chopped Book Wall)

Chevron folds, also called Z-shaped folds, have shear flanks and protruding rocks at the folds’ bending points. Normally several folds are piled up on top of one another. Tian Shu Bi is called heavenly chopped book wall because the rock stratum is thin, chevron and looks like a rolled up book dropped from the heavens with everyone trying to unravel its mystery.
