Influenced by the cold wave from the north, beautiful Lushan Global Geopark covered with the first heavy snow of this winter with depth of 40mm, and became a crystal fairytale world, which attracted many tourists for enjoying, taking photos and playing snows. According to the statistics, from Jan,23-24(last weekend), the number of the tourists with year-on-year growth of 11% hence created new record of winter tourism.

To make preparation for the cold wave and ensure the tourism security, all departments in the geopark held fast to their own position and implement the  emergency response measures. Weather, traffic information and warm reminder were released through official website, microblog and other internet platforms. Measures like landslide and other geo-harzard potential area patrolling, scenic spots road sweeping and cleaning, traffic temporary control and others were carried out.
