Lushan Global Geopark held Geo-popularization Week Activity during Sep 23-29, 2013. This activity included six aspects: Geo-knowledge lecture, geo-knowledge community popularization, geo-knowledge popularization in South Toursits’ Center, the exhibition of Geo-pictures drawn by students in schools, visiting the geo-heritages and visiting the geo-museum. This avtivity lasted a week, which is good for the managers of Lushan geopark, local residents, local students and tourists to understand the geo-knowledge about Lushan, and forge them love this beautifu mountain and cherish our planet.

Visiting the geo-heritages is especially for the guides and geo-volunteers of Lushan Global Geopark The staff from the office of Lushan Geopark Administrative Committee took  some guides and geo-volunteers to visit the geo-heritages and explain the geo-knowledge on site to them. This is the first step to train geo-volunteers of Lushan Global Geopark.
