Lushan Global Geopark conducted geosciences popularizations of entering the university campus for the 46th World Earth Day and advocated cherishing the earth ‘s resources, improving the mode of development ,enhancing the utilization efficiency of resources.
Distributing World Earth Day geosciences popularization booklets, holding geosciences popularization exhibition and making geosciences popularization lectures by two professors from China University of Geosciences(Wuhan) for local universities students. Universities students actively participated in the activities. They looked for related information while visited the exhibition and made interactions with specialists on the lecturing site.
Geosciences popularizations in the the university provided a good opportunity for university students to get geosciences knowledge which enhanced their responsibility of cherishing resources of the earth and conservation of the earth , hence obligation to contribute to the well-being and construction of the home –the earth.
