For the 70th anniversary of the victory of for the China's Anti-Japanese War and the world's anti fascism war， Lushan Global Geopark Administrative Committee，Lushan Artists’ Association, Calligraphers’ Association, Art Gallery, and Elderly Sports Association jointly sponsored a painting exhibition at Lushan Conference’s Centre. Looking back the heroic history of resistance against Japanese Aggression happened in Mt. Lushan, the exhibition focused on commemorating national hero and martyrs , cherishing peace and embracing the future.

As the issuing site of well-known Declaration of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Mt. Lushan has a very important position in the China's Anti-Japanese War. After that, the Chinese Communist Party and Kuomintang party fought together against Japanese invader. During the 8 months from late1938 until early 1939, the great Lushan Battle happened in Lushan, where the Lushanese military forces and civilians cracked down Japanese Imperialist’s arrogance and safeguarded national dignity by brave resistance against Japanese invaders .
