Recently, geohazards prevention and control were carried out. in Lushan Global Geopark. As a alpine geopark, with influence after frozen season in winter and rainy season in spring there lies great risk of landslide, rolling stones, debris flow, which would threaten the safety of geopark residents and facilities. The special activity about checking and managing hidden danger was carried out. special project of geohazards prevention and control covered all the scenic spots of geopark, both sides of the roads beside the mountain, mountain side slope protection of hotels, restaurants, residential and office buildings and other constructions .
With carefully checking, potential security problems was solved in time. Warning lines, warning boards and warning banners were set up in special areas with potential safety problems. All these measures safeguarded the community residents and tourists’ safety.
