The glacial knife-edge crest of Dayueshan looks like knife-edge stretching NE-SW,more than 4000m long,with elevation of 1453m of its main peak,it is composed of sandstone and conglomerate dated 800 million years.Wangjiapo U-shaped valley and Maichong-Qinglianjian U-shap valley, are in its two sides, and Da’ao cirque upwards.
