Glacier is a moveable ice—body which accumulates as snow．The Dajiaochang glacial U—shape valley is level with steep slop，wide and flat , of valley floor as long trough vertically and U—shape horizontally due to the erosion of glacier，the vertical section show the step-like because of the alternate glacial basin and riegel.The length of the valley is 3000m，the width is about 170m and the height is from 1050m to 1250m．Lower section of the valley exists the boulder—clay accumulation of Lushan glaciation of Late Pleistocene.
