From September 6 to 8, 2022, the first Lushan Conference for Global Business Leaders was held in Lushan Uggp. The conference was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Jiangxi Provincial Government, guided by the Development Research Center of the State Council, and co-organized by the China International Chamber of Commerce, the Jiangxi Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Jiujiang Municipal Government, and the National Research Think Tank.

Around 400 participants including the leaders of Jiangxi Provincial, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Development Research Center of the State Council, relevant national ministries and commissions, the leaders of Fortune 500 companies, head of multinational companies in China, executives of well-known domestic enterprises, and the guest representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries participated the conference online or offline.

There are mainly six thematic events in the conference : the first event was the "Sustainable Market Initiative" round table, with the theme of adhering to green development and working together for win-win results; the second event was the "Future Industry Forum", with the theme of global future industrial pattern; the third event was the "Digital Economy Development Forum", with the theme of the opportunities and challenges brought by the digital economy to the global economic development; the fourth event the "China-Africa Youth Leaders Forum", with the theme gathering the strength of young leaders and cooperating a better future for China and Africa; the fifth event was the "Green Energy Forum", with the theme of the transformation of the energy industry in the context of "double carbon"; the sixth event was the "Business Environment Development Forum", hosted by the Jiujiang Municipal Government, focused on special dialogues and major project signing.The Lushan Initiative of Global Business Leaders was released, which proposed that the global business community should work together to promote the global economic recovery in the post-epidemic era and got warm response from all sectors of society.
