中国庐山世界地质公园与摩洛哥姆古恩世界地质公园结为姊妹公园
Lushan UGGp set up twin geoparks with M'goun UGGp
2023年9月7日，在参加摩洛哥马拉喀什举行的第十届联合国教科文组织世界地质公园大会期间，庐山管理局局长、庐山市市长王斌率庐山世界地质公园代表团与摩洛哥姆古恩世界地质公园进行友好会谈，并签订了姊妹公园协议。
On September 7, 2023, a Lushan UGGp delegation led by Mr. Wang Bin, Deputy Director of Lushan UGGp Administrative Committee, Director of the Lushan Adminstration Bureau and Mayor of Lushan Municipality, participated the 10th UNESCO Global Geopark Conference held in Marrakech, Morocco, and had friendly talks with the M'goun UGGp Committee, Morocco and signed the twin geopark agreement.
王斌一行与摩洛哥姆古恩管委会贝尼·梅拉尔·赫尼夫拉地区委员会主席阿迪尔·巴拉卡特，贝尼·梅拉勒·赫尼夫拉地区瓦利省长哈提卜·赫比尔，摩洛哥姆古恩世界地质公园主席德利思·阿奇巴尔等进行了交流洽谈。双方分别介绍了地质公园基本情况，就地质公园管理、地质遗迹保护、科研科普、文化旅游、地区经济社会发展等方面，进行了深入交流探讨。
Mr. Wang Bin and his delegation had exchanges and discussions with Adir Barakat, Chairman of the Beni Meral Khnifra Regional Committee of the Muguin Management Committee in Morocco, Hatib Hebir, Governor of the Wali Province in Beni Meral Khnifra, and Delis Achbar, Chairman of the Muguin World Geopark in Morocco. Both sides introduced the basic situation of geoparks and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on geopark management, geological heritage conservation, scientific research and popularization, cultural tourism, regional economic and social development, and other aspects.
王斌表示，作为非洲首个世界地质公园，摩洛哥姆古恩世界地质公园有着传统建筑和粮仓为代表的丰富文化遗产，在自然文化遗产保护、地质科研科普教育、旅游产业发展等方面取得了显著成效。通过参加贵公园主办的第十届世界地质公园大会，能够感受到两地都具有悠久的历史文化、优越的区位交通、优美的生态环境、优良的产业基础，进一步深化交流交往具备良好条件和共同愿望。庐山愿与马拉喀什等地，密切在经济、文化、旅游、遗产保护等领域开展深入交流合作，建立双方友好城市合作关系，促进两地经济社会发展。

By participating in the 10th World Geoparks Congress hosted by your park, you can feel that both places have a long history and culture, superior location and transportation, beautiful ecological environment, and excellent industrial foundation. Further deepening exchanges and exchanges have good conditions and common aspirations. Lushan is willing to closely engage in in-depth exchanges and cooperation with Marrakech and other regions in the fields of economy, culture, tourism, heritage protection, etc., establish a friendly city cooperation relationship between the two sides, and promote the economic and social development of the two regions.
阿迪尔·巴拉卡特表示，庐山是全球首批世界地质公园，有完整的第四纪冰川遗迹生态系统，有闻名遐迩的生态奇观、悠久灿烂的历史文化、多元包容的开放基因，在地学遗产研究保护、旅游产业、文化传承等领域取得的成就令人称赞。同时，也与摩洛哥姆古恩世界地质公园很多共同点，希望加强全方位交流合作。他邀请庐山代表团实地访问摩洛哥姆古恩世界地质公园，促进双方在更宽领域更深层次开展务实合作。

Its achievements in research and protection of geological heritage, tourism industry, cultural inheritance, and other fields are commendable. At the same time, there are many similarities with the Muguin World Geopark in Morocco, and we hope to strengthen comprehensive exchanges and cooperation. He invited the Lushan delegation to visit the Muguin World Geopark in Morocco on site, promoting practical cooperation between the two sides in a wider range of fields and at a deeper level.
双方还探讨了中国庐山市与摩洛哥马拉喀什市建立友好城市的合作意向，约定开展政府间互访活动，为建立友好城市打下良好基础。
Both sides also discussed the cooperation intention of establishing friendly cities between Lushan City in China and Marrakech City in Morocco, and agreed to carry out intergovernmental visits to lay a solid foundation for the establishment of friendly cities.
