From 1^st to 7^th ,April， Lushan Global Administrative Committee carried out Loving Birds Week activities with the theme of Protecting Birds according to Laws and Constructing Beautiful Lushan. To carry out the activities better, the adminstrative committee made plans and organized in advance. From March, 15^th ,the paiting contest titled Protecting the Forest and Loving Birds hence Green Mountain and Clear Water, began to be carried out among the seven primaried schools in the geopark. During the activites, The students and teachers understood the importance of loving and protecting birds and also learned the ways to protect birds through the materials delivered ,panles and other related methords. Meanwhile, the award ceremony was also held. Among over 500 participants’ work, there were 7 ones for the first prize, 13 ones for the second prize ,19 ones for the third prize and over 50 ones for the honorable prize.

During the activitese, the geopark adminstrative committee also sent mobile phone messages, deliver leaflets and pamphlets, hang the banners, invited medias to report it and other methords in the school, communities, scenic spots to popularize the related laws,regulations and the importance of protecting birds and wild animals.
