In late August, with assistance of Lushan Global Geopark , 60 teachers and students from College of the Environment of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) had one-week field practice on geology and plants in Mt. Lushan. In 5 routes, the field practice team made investigation on Lushan plant diversity and geological relics.

Ever since 2010, Lushan Global Geopark became the teaching and researching base of China University of Geosciences(Wuhan) , and offered supporting measures like entrance tickets discount and other favorable policies . Under the cooperation agreement of two sides, both of the two parties had cooperation and communication on staff training and education，tourism resources and economic development, geo-tourism routes planning, eco-enviroment protection planning and enviromental influnce evaluation, biological rescources protection and utilization, geo-science popularization construction and geo-hazards prevention.The cooperation made contribution on geo-tourism promotion and geo-education of Lushan Global Geopark.
