The part of the Poyang Lake to the south of Xinzi County is called Luoxing Lake．There is the Luoxing Stone(falling star)in the lake，which consists of late cretaceous piedmont proluvial deposit breccia dated 100-70 Ma．In late Cretaceous Period, the dinosaur age，the ancient Po Yang Lake was much bigger than the lake now.
